Sometimes being quiet does the trick, rather than constant yelling. A quiet stance can make your pug look a bit confused. He or she might not be able to comprehend at first what’s happening? If you start yelling at your pooch because of their behaviour, they might join you and start barking. So stay silent for some time, wait for your pooch to stop barking. Give them a treat when your pooch stops barking. This will help in reinforcing new ideas on your pooch. 

Pugs tend to bark a lot when they sense someone is intruding. They can bark a lot. If you start screaming at them to stop. They will start barking more. 

Give treats to your pooch

Encourage good habits in your pooch by positive reconditioning. Positive conditioning can help a pooch be well behaved. Take some treats and provide them to your pooch by letting them bark calmly and not in a disruptive tone. You can hand over treats to your pooch whenever you see your pug doing a great job.
